How it works
1. The school is vetted
Heads apply with proof of registration and the principal's ID. We phone to confirm before anyone gets access.
2. Look up a child
Enter the child's exact ID or birth certificate number. If a school holds a record, you see who to contact. Nothing is public and nothing is guessed from names.
3. Ask for a reference
Send a short structured request to the previous school: fees, progress, parent involvement, behaviour and whether they would readmit.
Fairness built in
- A record can only be created with a signed parent consent form.
- Only the school that is owed can clear its record. Cleared records disappear after 30 days.
- Records expire after 24 months unless renewed.
- Parents can dispute a record at disputes@madaris.co.za. A disputed record is frozen and shown as "Disputed".
- A "no record" result never claims a clean history. Always ask the previous school directly.
