1. Inter-school policy agreement

INTER-SCHOOL FEES AND TRANSFER AGREEMENT

Between [School A], [School B] and any school that signs below ("the Schools").

1. Purpose. The Schools agree to act in good faith when a pupil moves between them, so that families are treated fairly and schools are not left unpaid.

2. Consent first. A School will share information about a pupil's fees or conduct only with the written consent of the pupil's parent or guardian.

3. Fees. Before enrolling a pupil from another School, the receiving School will ask whether fees are outstanding. A School may decline to enrol a pupil only where the parent has not agreed a payment arrangement and the amount owed is confirmed in writing.

4. Truthful references. Information given about a pupil will be accurate, factual and limited to fees, academic progress, parent involvement and behaviour. No School will pass on rumour or repeat a reference outside the two Schools concerned.

5. Right of reply. Where a reference is negative, the parent will be told and may respond before a decision is made.

6. Disputes. A parent may dispute any record at disputes@madaris.co.za. The Schools will not rely on a disputed record until it is resolved.

7. Review. This agreement is reviewed each year.
